This
sweet hat & mitten set, designed by Alicia Plummer, is meant to
call to mind the loveliness of winter pines and soft snow-and what
better way to ward off the cold than knitting warm accessories? In this
three session class you can choose to make either the hat or
mittens...or cast on both! We'll work through these relaxing patterns
and learn the tubular cast on, how to create a thumb gusset, and
experience the joy of working perfectly planned patterns.
Supplies needed:
* Aran weight yarn in one or two colors: 170 yards to make either mittens or hat 340 yards for both projects
* US 8 and US 9 needles dpns; 16" circulars optional
* Tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers
* Pattern provided in class
