Knitting: Basic Hat

Let's
make a hat! You know how to knit, now you're looking to make your first
wearable project? Use your skills to create a "Hat for Anyone",
apattern by Kathy North. We will expand your knitting abilities by
teaching you the rib stitch, decreasing, and knitting in the round. The
pattern is free on Ravelry.com.
Supplies needed:
* US 8, 16" circular needles
* US 8 double pointed needles (dpn)
* 200 yards worsted weight yarn, light, color suggested
* Scissors, place markers, & tapestry needle
